WELCOME TO
FORMULA ELECTRIC
A team of undergraduates from the Department of Mechanical Engineering is planning to participate in the Formula Student competition on 05th to 11th of August 2019 in Hockenheim, Germany. The team has already faced the qualifying online quiz on 01/02/2019 among 117 teams who participated (out of which first 40 can race, 60 in the waiting list). The team is now fully registered with car number 12 to compete in the race.

PROJECT FACTS
Fomula Electric
This will be first Formula Student Electric Vehicle to be participating for the Formular Student Racing Competition in Formula SAE electric competiton from Sri Lanka.
About The Project
Aim of the project is to develop a prototype of a single seat electric racing car for Formula Student Germany competition which is to be held at Hockenheim on 5th to 11th of August 2019.

ABOUT US
THE TEAM
The team consists of undergraduates from Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering departments of University of Moratuwa, who have shown their capabilities and potential in locally as well as internationally in designing, modelling and robotics competitions and highly recognized in academics.
